Weekly Photo Challenge: Growth

Look at the Growth of this wasp nest.

How quickly things grow bigger if left unnoticed.

I had seen this Nest one month ago, though much smaller at the time in out wood shed.  As I have small kids in the backyard playing around I decided to knock it down….

Well they are back and in full GROWTH as you can see.  Now what? There are just to many for me to remove this nest…so I will have to wait till the Fall until it is cooler I guess….staying clear of this nest I will for sure.

Good thing we do not need the wood at the moment though.

Nun, was soll ich damit?

Wow have a look at all THIS GROWTH that is happening on all of these blog posts!!!

AMAZING TO SEE ALL OF THIS

WAY TO GO

  1. Whoa! Beautiful as it is frightening. Thanks for the pingback, Jacqualine.
(How did you list all those blogs? Individually? Is there a trick? I spend so much time reading and posting comments. I need some short cuts. I would love to give others recognition. Any suggestions would be appreciated.)

    1. Sorry I am just getting back to you now…had problems with my computer.

I had the same kind of question and one of our fellow bloggers ‘MyfanWay” sent me this info that really was helpful; Have a look
Go to the original post see:

      http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2012/08/03/weekly-photo-challenge-growth/

Scroll down until you see Trackbacks & Pingbacks

You can find more by going to the link for newer comments and scrolling down.

Now, when you have decided which ones you want you just hilight and copy

Next, go to your appropriate post. Go into edit mode and paste the list at the bottom. Don’t do it in HTML mode or you will have to make all the links individually – just do it in write mode and it will all be ‘live’

All you have to do now is update the post.
      Have a fun week

  2. Cool interpretation of growth.. also how did you get that close? I rented from my parents for a bit when my kids were very young and the entire side of the house and part of the roof was caked/covered with wasp nests. I’m still afraid of them.

    1. hummm not sure I would have liked to stay there too…especially with little once around too. It takes only one sting and the area gets swelled up like a small lemon for months. You ask how I got that close to them. I took about 4 picture about 50cm away from them. Then once the picture is still on the camera I can modify or go closer up to some parts of the taken picture and safe it as that. Voila upload it to my computer and post it… though that is about all I change on my pictures not much on colour, sharpness etc. I do to my shots…kind of like it that way as that is the way I see the photo in real too…and I do not have the time or knowledge at the moment to work on more….enjoy and have a wonderful week

    1. Hi Sandy, You can say that again don’t like to see this nest in our backyard. I only hope they stay away from where we have our nice suppers outside in the summer evenings. Kind of we have our meal here and they will have there’s by the nest…have a wonderful Sunday.
