Norwegian Sweater

So it was long overdue to knit a nice Norwegian Sweater for my hubby. 

 Finlay did get the yarn just a week before Christmas…too late to have it finished for a Christmas present.  I knit this wonderful warm sweater with “Cascade Yarn Ecological Wool”.  I doubled the yarn up to get the correct gauge and knit with needle size 8mm and 4 skeins in beige and 2 skeins in brown. The pattern is from the Filati Handkitting magazine Edition 41…

 

 

 

 

So war es längst überfällig diesen schönen  Norwegischen Pullover für meinen Ehemann zu stricken. 
 
 Es dauerte leider etwas diese Wolle zu bekommne mit nur eine Woche vor Weihnachten … zu spät, um es fertig su haben  für ein Weihnachtsgeschenk.  Gestrickt wurde dieser wunderbare warme Pullover mit “Cascade Garne Ökologische Wolle“.  Ich doppelte das Garn up damit die richtige Maschen Probe bekommen hatte und mit Nadelstärke 8 mm und 4 Stränge in Beige und 2 Stränge in Braun.  Das Muster ist aus dem Filati Magazin Ausgabe 41 Handkitting.

  1. What a beautiful sweater! I’m terrible with colorwork — but I certainly admire the wonderful colorwork that other knitters do! I’m glad I can access your blog again — for a time, your page wasn’t loading on my computer!

      That is new to me that my page was not working correctly..but I am happy you can see it again. Please let me know if this is happening again so I could ask the wordpress team about any issues…

    der ist wunderschön geworden.Läst sich ja auch sehr gut stricken.
    Habe diese Pulli´ gestrickt, da war ich so 14 Jahre alt.
    Habe mir damals die Wolle immer aus Dänemark mitgebracht……..
    Oh, mensch was ist das lange her;-))))))

      Das ist ja toll…Die Zeit ja davon wollen eir gar nicht reden….es geht uns ja allen gleich. Hast du den Pullover immer noch? Ich hoffe bei mir wird es dann auch angezogen…der Pulli ist halt schon fuer kalte Tage draussen. Im Hous den zu tragen ist vielleicht schon etwas zu warm….ja bei uns schneit es auch wieder
