Taking in some sun and peaceful moments in our backyard. I was surprise by a Cardinal Birds pair. Sitting on the bench next to my favourite Standard Willow Trees…it looks as the cardinals like it too. Ony about two arms lengths away from me, they decided to landed on the branches. I always have my knitting basket with my camera close by. So carefully reaching down to get the camera and hoping to take a view pictures. Lucky for me you can see I really was able to take these great photos. 
Für ein paar Minuten habe ich die Sonne und die Ruhe genossen in unserm Garten. Als ich Überrascht wurde von einem Cardinal Vogel Paar. Ich sass gerad auf der Bank neben den Stantart Willow Baum…as die Zwei auch in diesen Baum flogen..nur etwa zwei Armslänge von mir weg. Da ich immer mein Strickkorb mit Fotoapparat bei mir habe, versuchte ich ganz langsam den Fotoapparat heraus zu nehmen um einige Fotos zu bekommen von den schönen Vögeln. Ich hatte Glück.

Jacqueline: What great photos! Cardinals have a way of bringing sparkle to our day. You have some really good shots. I like the female sitting in the grass. Beautiful color, she is. You were fortunate to get those shots.

Yes you are right we are very lucky to see them. I think we even have a nest close by. They are regular visitors every day. I have them recorded with them singing too but unfortunately would have to upgrade the wordpress account to post it. I would love to have that too. But….have to wait

Liebe Jacqueline, ich war mir ja gar nicht sicher, ob du überhaupt solche Awards magst. Aber deinen Blog lese ich sehr gerne, du hast immer wieder wunderschöne Fotos, und mit dem Stricken bist du so schnell, dass ich immer wieder staune, wie du das machst.
Mit den Kommentaren weiß ich nicht, was da los ist. Ich habe es so eingestellt, dass jeder kommentieren kann. Ich hatte einmal das Problem, dass ich auf einem Blog nicht kommentieren konnte und nicht wusste wieso, dann hat sich herausgestellt, dass es am alten Internet Explorer lag. Jetzt habe ich Firefox. Aber ob das der Grund ist, weiß ich nicht.
Auf jeden Fall freue ich mich, dass du dich freust!

Yes Sandy these day it’s a must to have the camera ready all the time…I am waiting to get a picture of the little bunny in our garden eating all my plants….having his supper I guess.
