I just love this pink cable knit shawl to snuggle up in.

  So super soft cotton “All Seasons Cotton” by Rowan …I was amazed to see the stunning size of this shawl.  The cables are just perfect for this pattern from Vogue Knitting Magazine fall 2009 edition it gives a nice texture to this wrap.  Knits up so fast too…but look out it is heavy and you will have a lot of stitches on your needles….something like 300 plus.

Dieser Schal is so wunderschön weich und sanft mit dem leichten rosa Farbe ist dieses “All Seasons Cotton”Rowan. 

 Freue micht richtig, mich in den hinein zu schuggeln.  Doch staunte ich schon als ich die Grösse sah als es fertig war.  Perfect für um die Schulter zu legen und mich warm zu behalten.  Das Zopfmuster  auch wunderschön für dieses Muster von demVogue Knitting Heft vom Herbst 2009.  Schell gestrickt… doch pass auf  es wird schweer sein  mit etwas mehr als 300 Maschen auf den Nadeln

Beaded Lace Shawl

Another project finished just before Christmas.

 

 I love the lacy look of this shawl and the beads added to it give it the sparkle for the Festive Season. This pattern was challenging as I had to really keep a close look on what row I was on. I also thought I had chosen the wrong yarn to work with. But in the end I think it look very stunning. I may try to make another one in a black lace yarn in January. After all my Christmas wishes have been completed.

Now I am looking forward to starting my next project….so many to choose from.  But I have to work on some more of the Fingerless Gloves before that.  Then, I may complete one of the Entrelac pattern Scarves.  Will see……hope to see you back soon.

 
 

Ein weiteres Projekt fertig kurz vor Weihnachten.

 Ich liebe die filigrane Anmutung dieses Tuch und die Perlen geben ihm den Glanz der Festlichen Jahreszeit. Dieses Muster war eine echte Herausforderung, ich hatte wirklich einen genauen Blick auf das Muster halten muessen. Ich dachte, ich hätte die falschen Wolle für die Arbeit  ausgewählt. Aber am Ende denke ich, es ist sehr schoen heraus gekommen. Ich versuchen, ein anderes in einem schwarzen Spitzen Garn zu stricken im Januar. Nachdem alle meine  Weihnachten Wuensche  und Bestellungen abgeschlossen sind.
Jetzt freue ich mich auf mein nächstes Projekt  …. So viele zur Auswahl. Aber ich sricke noch  einige der Halb-Handschuhe.  Dann werde ich den Entrelac  Schal zu stricke anfangen. Werden sehen … … hoffen, Sie bald wieder zu sehen.

This Ribwarmer is a wonderful addition to have for under a Ski jacket or if you are going for a walk in the Forest.   I love to wear it around the home. Great with a light long sleeve t-shirt top or with a blouse.  It keeps my back nice and warm.  It is not as heavy as a sweater that is sometimes too much for wearing in the home.  The pattern can be modified to make it smaller or bigger if needed.

I have come across this pattern at one of the Vogue Knitting Magazines.  I fell in Love with it and purchased this ohhhh…… so nice and soft yarn.

 For the Office Party with and evening gown this will locks stunning.   Perhaps you love Jeans, this will keep you warm and looks great too even if you dress it down.

This was a fun project especially since I made two of them. The first one was too small so I gave it to my daughter and made another one for myself. Fun and light to wear in a hot day if you like to cover up or on a cooler summer evening.
