It kind of looks like I strayed away from knitting. By far I have to say. Busy with lots of new projects on the go i kind of forgot to post them. Believe me I will try to show you over the next view weeks.

So this Forest Weave by Yumiko Alexander is a real simple and fun knit so much so I had a view orders in to knit for friends. This summer top is knit side ways and all with some cable work and dropped stitches a fun summer knit.

Glad to use my “Mablez” needle at 5.5mm as they have a bit of a sharper point and FibraNatura Good Earth Solids a Aran weight 53% Cotton, 47% Linen wa ideal for this top.

For small size 5.5 skeins for medium to larger size 6 to 7 skeins in this yarn.

Great for the office in the summer or cooler night. But wait who said you can’t wear it in the winter with a turtleneck under it.

Es sieht so aus, als ob ich abgekommen bin vom stricken. Im Gegenteil muss ich sagen. Glaub’ mir, ich werde versuchen in den nächsten Wochen Euch das alles zu Zeigen.

Damit ist hier dieser “Forest Weave” von Yumiko Alexander ist ein echt einfacher Sommer Pullover. Durfte den Pulli sogar noch zwei mal stricken. Dieser Sommer Pulli strickt sich von der Seite Weg und mit einigen Zopf Mustern und Fallmaschen echt toll zum Stricken und Targen

Los gings mit meinem “Mablez” Nadeln # 5,5 mm. Diese Nadlen haben einen bessern Spitz und FibraNatura Good Earth Wolle war ideal. Für kleine Größe benöttigte ich nur 5,5 Stränge für mittlere bis größere Größe 6 bis 7 Stränge in diesem Garn.

Ideal für das Büro im Sommer oder kühlere Nächt. Aber wer sagt man kann den nur im Sommer tragen,im Winter mit einem Rollkragen d’runter geht doch auch gut.

Well we are way into summer though it has not been to hot so far…and lots of rain on and off.

I guess the farmers like this weather for there crop. Yes and I am still busy as always with my knitting hot or cold I am always having my needles and yarn on the go…. I kind of forgot to show You this great Summer Top. http://passiontocreate.ca/2013/04/24/ribbon-yarn/ earlier post

It started out as a skirt from the FAM Spring Collection 2013 http://www.langyarns.com/index.php?nav=2&lang=en You can see there picture on page 46

…so love all the patterns in almost every issue. This one had a skirt and a top. though they did not use this yarn. I dicidet to knit this top with Louisa Harding Yarns Delphine and only used 5 skeins about 500 yards or 460meters for it too. This Summer top came together very vast with needle number US 10 -6.0mm .

Nun, wir sind jetzt doch schon Im Sommer auch wenn es noch nicht zu heiß ist bis jetzt… und wir auch ein richtiges hin un her haben mit dem Wetter einmal heiss dan wieder Regen und Kalt. Ich denke, die Bauern sind froh mit dem Wetter, die Ernte wird gut sein wenn es so weiter geht bei uns.

Ja, und ich bin immer mit dem handarbeiten beschäftigt, wie immer Stricken Haeckel, Quilten ja auch der Garten. Ob heiß oder kalt Ich habe meinen Nadeln und Garn nie weit weg von mir…

Doch habe ich vergessen, Euch dieses große Sommer-Top zu zeigen . Es begann als ein Rock aus dem FAM Spring Collection 2013

… so liebe all die Muster in jeder Ausgabe von dem Strick-Heft. Doch aus dem Jupe wurde das Sommer Top. Dazu verstrickte ich aber 5 Kneueln von dem Louisa Harding Yarns “Delphine” so etwa 460meters für das Ganze Top. Sehr schnell ging es vorwährts mit dem Top mit Nadel Nummer 6.0mm.

Tank Top In Two Colours

A two colour tank top is just what I see out in the stores here and there. I started knitting this top from one of my favourite German magazine called “Sabrina”.

I had 1.5 skeins of the pink “Italgamma Filati Fantasia Carezza” left that I used for the bottom border lace pattern. Since I had bought this yarn a while ago from my friend Sandra that has so much yarn in her stash, I thought she may have this yarn in another colour too.

Sure, she came buy with two colours; yellow and green. I went for the yellow and I think it works perfect with the pink that I already had bought from her a while ago. This yarn knits up nice in a 3.5mm just like in this top that used up a total of 5.5 skeins.

I worked the pattern from the Sabrina Nr.05 Mai 2012 but did modify the top collar to make it not quiet so reveling and knit an eyelet border around the neck…love it that way

Eine zweifarbige Tank-Top ist genau das, was ich sehen in den Läden hier und da.

Das Muster ist von einer meiner Lieblings-Deutschen Zeitschrift namens “Sabrina” von dem Mai 2012 Nr.5 Ausgabe. Ich änderte nur den Kragen etwas nicht so weit offen und auch wieder ein Lochmuster.

Ich hatte 1,5 Stränge des rosa “Italgamma Filati Fantasia Carezza”, dass ich für den unteren Rand mit Lochmuster verwendet. Da ich dieses Garn hatte vor einer Weile von meiner Freundin Sandra, die so viel Garn hat in ihrem Haus, dachte ich , vielleicht hat sie dieses Garn in einer anderen Farbe auch noch. Klar! Mit zwei Farben, Gelb und Grün besuchte sie mich.

Ich ging für das Gelbe und ich denke, es sieht perfekt aus mit dem Rosa dass ich schon von ihr gekauft hatte.

Dieses Garn strickt sich schön mit Nadel Grösse 3,5-mm-genau wie in diesem Top, bauchte insgesamt 5,5 Stränge. Ganz schön gefällt es mir…
