Yes I told you I am on a roll now! Well this one is on a Swing instead of a roll….smiles. It is Swing Knitting. I found this pattern on Raverly it is also in English Swing Knits® (German) Autumn Fusion Shawl by Brigitte Elliott.

I was getting bored by all this “Normal” knitting stuff and was looking for something different. I used my hand dyed yarn called “KnitswissYarns” in a fingering weight …love love love this yarn. The colour had to be a big contrast to the Schoppel-Wolle Crazy Zauberball called flussbett. and US 6 – 4.0 mm knitting needles again the “Marblz” where a dream.

You have to try knitting this too soooo much fun and I could not wait to see the colours changing.

For the second shawl I used Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball colour “Durch Die Blume” and madelinetosh Unicorn Tails Colorway 292hotpink but with a smaller needle size US4 – 3.5mm

Ja, ich habe schon gesagt, ich bin auf einer Rolle jetzt! ….lächelt.

Bin am “Swing” stricken. Ich fand dieses Muster auf Raverly das auch in Englisch Swing strickt® (Deutsch) Herbst Fusion Schal von Brigitte Elliott.

Es wurde mir etwas langweilig all diese “normale” stricken. So war ich auf der Suche nach etwas anderem. Mein Hand gefärbtes Garne “KnitswissYarns” in einen Finger weight war ideal dazu…. Die Farbe musste aber einen großen Kontrast haben zu der Schoppel-Crazy Zauberball “Flussbett”. Und US 6 – 4,0 mm Stricknadeln mit “Marblz”, was ein Traum

Für den zweiten Schal benutzte ich einen Kneuel Schoppel-Zauberball Farbe “Durch die Blume” und Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails “292 hotpink” aber mit einem kleineren Nadel Größe US4 – 3,5 mm

After long thinking what I could knit with this lovely Yarn:

Schoppel-Wolle

Zauberball 1 skeins = 459.0 yards (419.7m) in Red-orange.

I resided to knit this Pattern is from 108-47 Shawl in Kid-Silk by DROPS design.

Love how the colours fade so softly into another. Yarn is wonderful to knit too. All knit up…but did have to modify this shawl as I did not have enough yarn to knit the ending of this shawl the way the pattern ask for. So I left out pattern Nr3 and Nr4 and used the edging from the 198 Yards of Heaven shawl to finish it up. So here you can see looks nice this way aswell…

This shawl may be a little bit to hot for in this heat we are having now but come Fall it would be perfect and the colours just right too with all the red-orange leaves will be having then …but I love this heat for now….:-)))))

Roter Zuberball Schal

Nach langem studieren was ich mit dieser schöner Wolle:

Schoppel-Wolle Zauberball 1 Strange + 419.7 m in rot – ornage Farbe stricken soll.

Habe ich mich für dieses Muster von 108-47 Shawl in Kid-Silk by DROPS Design entschlossen.

Die Farben fliessen sehr schön in einander. Auch ist die Wolle sehr angenehm zum stricken. So alles fertig gestrickt …leider hatte ich aber nicht genug Wolle für das Muster so zu stricken wie es angegeben war. So habe ich Muster Nr 3 und Nr4 weg gelassen und aber den Abschluss genauso gestrickt wie beim 198 Yarns of Heaven. Sieht auch schön aus so…

Dieser Schal ist aber etwas zu warm für diese Hitzewelle die wir im Moment haben doch wird er gut passen für die Herbst Zeit sowie auch in den Farben. Doch mir passt die Hitze im Moment ……:-))))
