Summer Top In Ribbon Yarn

DSC04319Well we are way into summer though it has not been to hot so far…and lots of rain on and off.

I guess the farmers like this weather for there crop. Yes and I am still busy as always with my knitting hot or cold I am always having my needles and yarn on the go…. It started out as a skirt  from the FAM Spring Collection 2013 http://www.langyarns.com/index.php?nav=2&lang=en You can see there picture on page 46

…so love all the patterns in almost every issue. This one had a skirt and a top. though they did not use this yarn. I dicidet to knit this top with Louisa Harding Yarns Delphine2013-04-24 19.09.00 and only used 5 skeins about 500 yards or 460meters for it too. This Summer top came together very vast with needle number US 10 -6.0mm .

DSC04316Nun, wir sind jetzt doch schon Im Sommer auch wenn es noch nicht zu heiß ist bis jetzt… und wir auch ein richtiges hin un her haben mit dem Wetter einmal heiss dan wieder Regen und Kalt.  Ich denke, die Bauern sind froh mit dem Wetter, die Ernte wird gut sein wenn es so weiter geht bei uns.

Ja, und ich bin immer mit dem handarbeiten beschäftigt, wie immer Stricken Haeckel, Quilten ja auch der Garten. Ob heiß oder kalt Ich habe meinen Nadeln und Garn nie weit weg von mir…

Doch habe ich vergessen, Euch  dieses große Sommer-Top zu zeigen . Es begann als ein Rock aus dem FAM Spring Collection 2013

 … so liebe all die Muster in jeder Ausgabe von dem Strick-Heft. Doch aus dem Jupe wurde das Sommer Top.  Dazu verstrickte ich aber  5 Kneueln von dem Louisa Harding Yarns “Delphine” so etwa 460meters für das Ganze Top.  Sehr schnell ging es vorwährts mit dem Top mit Nadel Nummer 6.0mm.DSC04320

Just what we are looking for! cardigans for this spring and all knit with 9 skeins of “Louisa Harding Ondine“

…yes it is called “Clam” and also a pattern from Louisa Harding.

I knit this one up with needle size 3.25mm and 3.75mm with a total yardage length of 1072 yards or 980 meters…Nice pattern to follow again and gorgeous yarn that is available in so many colours …perfect for the spring

Genau das, was wir für diesen Frühling brauchen, einen  Strickjacke und  mit nur  9 Kneuel von “Louisa Harding Ondine” fertig gestrickt

… ja, das Muster heißt “Clam” und auch von Louisa Harding.

Ich strickte diese Jacke mit Nadelstärke  3,25 mm und 3,75 mm mit einer Lauflänge von insgesamt 980 Meter … schönes Muster zum folgen und wieder ein wunderschönes Garn, dass in so vielen Farben erhalt bar ist … perfekt für den Frühling

Liquorice

Is a wonderful pattern by Louise Harding and relatively easy patterns to knit.

I was the lucky one to be able to finish this one for “The Yarn Store” in Newmarket, Ontario in a size 38.

So perfect size for myself…..well I had to give it up….

We used 9 skeins about 1152 yards of this very soft yarn called  Louisa Harding Willow Tweed and needles 3.75 mm and 4 mm.

If by chance you visited this last weekend the Creative Festival Show at the International Centre in Toronto, you could have seen this Jacket at ” The Quilt Store & The Yarn Store ”  booth. I had a wonderful time helping the ladies.

Liquorice  

Ein wunderbares und relativ einfaches Muster zum  Stricken von Louise Harding entworfen.

Ja ich hatte das Glück, diese Jacke stricken zu dürfen für “The Yarn Store” in Newmarket, Ontario, Kanada, in einer Größe 38.

Also perfekt für mich im Mass….na ja sie musste aber weiter ins Geschäft….

Wir hatten 9 Stränge dazu gebraucht so etwa  1053 Meter von diesem sehr weichem Garn Namens “Louisa Harding Willow Tweed” und Nadelnstärke 3,75 mm und 4 mm.

Am vergangenen Wochenende war in Toronto eine Fach- Messe von Wolle, Stoffen, Perlen,Beads, und sonstigem  “Kreative Festifall” im International Centre in Toronto. Diese Jacke wurde da gezeigt als Muster für die Wolle bei “The Quilt Store & The Yarn Store”. Ich hatten eine Tolle Zeit dort mit zu machen.
