This shawl is great for the one of a kind skein you have in your stash…..Citron Shawlette by Hilary Smith Callis. 
 My special skein of yarn I had available is called the  Lang Yarns Jawoll Magic.
 
  I used a needle size 4mm with only one skein.  Though next time around I think I would try knitting it with a size 4.5mm or 5mm needle to make it even more airy and light….love how the ruffles just so happen with increases and decreases…just so softly. 
 
Ideal geeignet ist dieser Schal  für die einzig artigen Knäuel von denen wir nur eine Strange haben …..” Citron”von Hilary Smith Callis.  Das Muster is Gratis zum herunter laden…. Mein besonderer Knäuel  die ich zur Verfügung hatte ist “Lang Yarns Jawoll Magic”.
 Mit Nadel #4mm und einer Strang….wunderschön. Obwohl, beim nächsten Mal denke ich, ich würde  es mit einer Nadel Größe 4,5 mm oder 5 mm stricken, um es noch luftiger und leichter herzu stellen …. , wie die Rüschen nur so mit Zu-und Abnahmen passieren … so einfach und luftig.

I am loving knitting shawls as you can see….not sure when that bug got a hold of me??      smile….

I did have a small amount I think about 3/4 of a skein of this “Misti Alpaca Baby Alpaca Royal” yarn left and thought this would perfect for this  “Citron” shawl pattern by Hilary Smith Callis also available for download on Ravelry.com.  I knit this shawl with a 4mm needle and think it was just the right size once washed and blocked to size.

  My mother in Switzerland  loves wearing it and to my surprise is not itching her on the skin too…

 

 

 

Wie Du sehen kanst stricke ich gerne Schals…keine Ahnung wann mich dieser Käfer gepackt hat?? Smile….

Hatte einen kleinen Resten von etwa 3/4 Kneuel von der “Misti Alpaca Baby Alpace Royal” Wolle übring und dachte dass das gerade recht sein wird für diesen “Citron” Schal by Hilary Smith Callis auch erhältlich von Raverly.com zum herunter laden.  Mit Nadel nummer 4mm hatte ich gerade einen gross genug Schal fertig gebracht.

  Er gefiel meim Mutt in der Schweiz gut und zu meiner Überrachung beisst sie an der Haut auch nicht….

So I just had to knit this one scarf for my husband too.  This one is not so thick and looks like it has been woven rather then knit…  I like it too, the look is more like an executive scarf under a business coat.  Like one you would buy in a store.  Still soft and I hope it will keep him warm to on the drive to work…This scarf too is from the www.raverly.com site available for download by Hilary Smith Callis. For this one I used a yarn called “Sweetgeorgia” Hand Painted Yarns.

The callculations and gauge would be: 28sts will give me 4inches on a 3.5mm needle…so I am cast  355stitches on… using one skein and the finished  measurements are 52inches (122cm)long and 6.5 inches (16cm) wide. This is a fun pattern…
I love the colours in this scarf and how they flow into each other. I hope it will get lots of wear and will kepp him warm too…

 

 So ein zweiter Schal  für meinen Mann. Dieser schal ist nicht so dick und sieht aus wie gewoben, anstatt gestrickt … Passed gut unter einem Business-Mantel. Wie von einem Geschäft kaufen, doch weich und ich hoffe, es hält ihn warm auf der Fahrt zur Arbeit … Dieser Schal ist auch von der Website www.raverly.com zur Verfügung von Hilary Smith Callis. Für diesen Schal habe ich ein Garn “Sweetgeorgia” handbemalt Garne benutzt.

Die Massen dazu habe ich so bestimmt: 28 Maschen gibt mir 10 cm mit einer 3,5 mm Nadel … so habe  ich 355 Maschen aufgefasst. Eine Strang Wolle  und das fertige Mass ist 122 cm lang und 16 cm breit. Ein interresantes Muster …
Mir gefallen die Farben in dieser Schal und wie sie ineinander fließen.
