From Chocolate to Rum… that sounds not bad either. We tasted lots of chocolate so sweet and yummy. Now we are at River Antoine Rum Distillery, It is the Oldest rum distillery on the island featuring 250-year-old equipment!

“River Antoine proudly makes their pure cane juice rum from locally grown, hand cut, organic sugar cane. The juice is extracted by crushing the stalks multiple times in a waterwheel-powered cane crusher.  The steady rush of water that turns the wheel is diverted from a local river and depending on whether it’s rainy or dry season, is only allowed to flow for a few hours per day”

What a beautiful place to visit. This setting I think would be so romantic for a wedding.

The grounds are so unique in so many ways. We had a fantastic tour of how they make their rum… Ohh yes I know I have to admit I was more interested in the beauty of this Distillery Grounds then in the rum making… Sorry.

This was just to perfect.. rain showers as we sipped the rum.. Had to restrain myself from dancing in the warm rain… I have been know to do that.
