Wish I had bought more of this gorgeous cotton yarn when I was home last April in Möhlin. My mom and I found this in our local “Landi” in Möhlin. Called “Baumwollgarn Fil De Coton”a sport weight cotton great for many crochet or knit projects.
Hope one day the Landi will carry more of it again so I can get more of it.
Love the feel and look of the yarn and sweater. Used a hook size 3.5mm (E) and all of the 4 skeins (400 grams) I bought for a small/medium but had to hook on for the larger size due to yarn.
Gerne hätte ich noch ein paar Kneuel mehr von diesem wunderschönen Baumwollgarn das ich in Möhlin im April in der Landi gekauft hatte. Einfach perfect für diesen Netz Pullover von Teresa Chorzepa. Verwendet einen Häkel Größe 3,5 mm (E) und alle 4 Stränge (400 Gramm) für eine kleine / mittlere Grösse musste aber wegen dem Garn auf die größere Massgröße Haken. Hab es nicht gern wenn alles so eng an liegt.

Tirano Vest
For the past view months I have been crocheting squares. Yes just some fun crochet stuff.
Totally thrilled how this vest turned out. I call it the “Tirano Vest.
I can’t wait to see how my new “Flower Power” coat will look once done…but until then I hope we have some more sunshine soon…

Würde es nie denken… ja schon wieder ein regnerischen, kalten Tag und das schon fuer drei Tage. So hier dann etwas Farbe da ich die Sonne Euch nicht senden kann.
Farben, ja, das kann ich mit meinen Strick bringen, doch dieses mal wird es Häkeln sein.
In den letzten paar Monaten habe ich Quadrate gehäckelt.
Ich bin begeistert wie diese Tirano Weste zusammen kam.
Ohne Muster? Ja das gibt es schon, alles Freestyle.
Bin auch schon gespannt wie meine neuer Flower Power Jacke aussehen wird.Doch da muss ich noch etliche Tage daran stricken…so bis auf bald dann.

For this version I used some of the Sirdar Calico in yellow for the beak and Sirdar Snuggly DKin white, black and blue for eyes and gray for the body and with hook size 5.0 mm (H).
I finished one in medium and large size just to make sure it would fit just perfect for the little fellow for picture day….

This mornings drive to the International Centre was a blast….Irene made sure we all are awake that is for sure. With only 2 skeins of this “Noro Taiyo Sock” yarn….about 924 yarns or 845 meters that gave e a nice comfortable length…I use a 4mm hook size but one could use a bigger hook too and the end result would be much lighter and looser in the chain….fun too…never not try new thing. Be unique and have fun playing with your needle or hook size…you never know what will happen …amazing results I promise You.
I enjoy knitting or crocheting with all NORO YARNS….just so much fun the colours just come together in sooo many fun ways…never the same …you always will have a one of a kind creation…every time…so let start with this one…

Mit nur 2 Stränge von “Noro Taiyo Sock” etwa 845 Meter Luaflänge. Ich benutze eine 4mm Hakelgröße aber man könnte einen größeres Häkel auch dazu benützen und das Endergebnis würde viel leichter und lockerer in der Masche sein … Spaß sollte man ja auch haben dabei und immer lust auf etwas Neues zu haben… Tolle Muster können da entstehen.
Schau nur die Farben an so Spielend ….gar nicht langweilig zum Stricken. Jeder Schal gestrickt mit Noro ist ein einzig artiges Werk.
I am having some fun knitting some Baby items lately.
My daughter has this wonderful teacher how is going to be a daddy very soon. He is a very helpful and kind teacher to the kids and there parents. So we thought we will make something special for his new Baby. We are not sure if they are expecting a boy or Girl Baby so the colours are kind of mixed so a Boy or Girl could enjoy snuggling in it.
I used several different patterns that I had fund on Ravely and included some of my own too. Around every square I used a chain crochet stitch. Sewed them all together and with one row of chain crochet stitch finished it up. The yarn I used is “Cascade 220 Yarn Wool” 100% Peruvian Highland Wool.

Meine Tochter hat einen sehr netten Lehrer der in kürze Vater wird. Er ist sehr hilsfbereit und hat eine gute Kommunation mit den Kindern wie auch Eltern. So dachten wir das auch Er etwas besonderes haben soll für sein baby. Wir haben keine Ahnung ob es ein Bueb oder Mädchen ist so die Fraben gehen für Beide.
Ich habe verschieden Muster von Ravely gefunden und dann auch noch meine Eigenen. Dann umhäckelte jedes Viereck mit einer chain Reihe. Nähte alle zusammen und häckelte noch eine Chain Reihe rund herum. Die Wolle die ich dafür brauchte is “Cascade 220” 100% Peruvian Highland Wool.
A wonderful Lace Knit and Crochet Shrug for dressing up to go out on the town. Looks great with a thin or strap less dress for a Cocktail Party or the coming Christmas Events. I am sure lots of us are looking now to see what we are going to wear this coming Festive Season. Again…this could be knit with a nice silk yarn. It would be possible to add-on some stunning Beads at the Ruffle.
