Wish I had bought more of this gorgeous cotton yarn when I was home last April in Möhlin. My mom and I found this in our local “Landi” in Möhlin. Called “Baumwollgarn Fil De Coton”a sport weight cotton great for many crochet or knit projects.

Hope one day the Landi will carry more of it again so I can get more of it.

It worked up beautiful for this Easy Mesh Pullover by Teresa Chorzepa.

Love the feel and look of the yarn and sweater. Used a hook size 3.5mm (E) and all of the 4 skeins (400 grams) I bought for a small/medium but had to hook on for the larger size due to yarn. 2016-06-24 09.04.40-1

Gerne hätte ich noch ein paar Kneuel mehr von diesem wunderschönen Baumwollgarn das ich in Möhlin im April in der Landi gekauft hatte. Dieses ” Baumwollgarn Fil De Coton ” ist ideal für viele häkeln oder strick Projekte . Hoffe, dass eines Tages die Landi es wieder im verkauf haben wird, damit ich (oder Mutt,) mehr davon besorgen kann. Ja auch meine Mutter hätte diesen pullover gern zum anziehen wie ich weiss.

Einfach perfect für diesen Netz Pullover von Teresa Chorzepa. Verwendet einen Häkel Größe 3,5 mm (E) und alle 4 Stränge (400 Gramm) für eine kleine / mittlere Grösse musste aber wegen dem Garn auf die größere Massgröße Haken. Hab es nicht gern wenn alles so eng an liegt.

So I have been playing around long enough with this.

it is about time that I will show you all this too.

Today it is truly a fabulous day

Perfect to colour some more of the yarns I have undyed at my home.

So gorgeous outside for that it in November the 3rd. Normally we are truly way colder than the 18 degrees we have now. Even had snow as early as October.

So a batch of yarn is hanging on my clothes hanger outside now to dry. Have a look there are about 12 skeins of Lace hanging outside to try.

Aahhh soooo yummy soft!

Yes also 4 skeins of Soybean a new yarn I am trying out. Really love how it took the colour and how it feels too. I think that would be a great one for the once the can’t knit with wool.

Also coloured 10 skeins of Bamboo to see how it will take the colour. The colours come out rather soft see the light blue and light pink. I believe that would be nice for the coming Spring too

Going to knit something up soon with either one and let you know what my thoughts are.

My BFF, yes you will get one of them to knit something gorgeous too!

Forest Weave

It kind of looks like I strayed away from knitting. By far I have to say. Busy with lots of new projects on the go i kind of forgot to post them. Believe me I will try to show you over the next view weeks.

So this Forest Weave by Yumiko Alexander is a real simple and fun knit so much so I had a view orders in to knit for friends. This summer top is knit side ways and all with some cable work and dropped stitches a fun summer knit.

Glad to use my “Mablez” needle at 5.5mm as they have a bit of a sharper point and FibraNatura Good Earth Solids a Aran weight 53% Cotton, 47% Linen wa ideal for this top.

For small size 5.5 skeins for medium to larger size 6 to 7 skeins in this yarn.

Great for the office in the summer or cooler night. But wait who said you can’t wear it in the winter with a turtleneck under it.

Es sieht so aus, als ob ich abgekommen bin vom stricken. Im Gegenteil muss ich sagen. Glaub’ mir, ich werde versuchen in den nächsten Wochen Euch das alles zu Zeigen.

Damit ist hier dieser “Forest Weave” von Yumiko Alexander ist ein echt einfacher Sommer Pullover. Durfte den Pulli sogar noch zwei mal stricken. Dieser Sommer Pulli strickt sich von der Seite Weg und mit einigen Zopf Mustern und Fallmaschen echt toll zum Stricken und Targen

Los gings mit meinem “Mablez” Nadeln # 5,5 mm. Diese Nadlen haben einen bessern Spitz und FibraNatura Good Earth Wolle war ideal. Für kleine Größe benöttigte ich nur 5,5 Stränge für mittlere bis größere Größe 6 bis 7 Stränge in diesem Garn.

Ideal für das Büro im Sommer oder kühlere Nächt. Aber wer sagt man kann den nur im Sommer tragen,im Winter mit einem Rollkragen d’runter geht doch auch gut.

Black Lace Shawl

How wonderful and light draping this shawl is once again. the pattern is the “198 Yards of Heaven” on Ravelry

I did knit this one in 100% Pima Cotton Flame

from Americo Original . One day I do have to go visit that store in Toronto. Wonderful yarns they have. This shawl will be nice to have on hand if I need one for an evening out this winter.

So wunderschön und leicht ist dieser Schal wieder geworden. Das Muster ist das “198 Yars of Heaven” bei Ravelry

Dises mal habe ich 100% Pima Baumwolle Flamme von Americo Original gebraucht. Sicher werde ich froh sein dieser Schal im Kasten zu habe wenn wir an einem schönen Abend in Ausgang gehen werden.

Immer schön so ein Schal über ein rassiges Kleid zu targen.

Ready to wear my Knit Cardigan in Sirdar Flirt

Finished Knit Cardigan in Sirdar Flirt. Very light and so soft. I am now waiting for a little warmer weather…so I can wear this lovely cardigan out. It was well worth knitting.

Though I was not sure what planet I was on this time…one has to read the pattern correctly!

This is very funny now….. it was so stuck in my head… the pattern told me to decrease for the Neck over the next “40 rows, one stitch at each end of next and every following 4th row = leaving me with 182 stitches“. That would give me 10 decreases each end.

But for some reason I could not go past the thought that I have to decrease 80 stitches in total over the next 40 rows every 4th row each end … “IMPOSSIBLE” my brain screamed!!! With my calculation this cardigan was even before the sleeve length was knit already to my knees……called my friends and they knocked some sence back into my brain….hahaha…Thanks girls

Fertig zum Tagen ist meine Jacke in Sirdar Flirt jetzt. Wunderschön ist sie auch wieder geworden. Das Lohnte sich wieder so eine weisse Jacke zu stricken. Jetzt warte ich nur noch bis es wieder etwas wärmern wird.

Wusste nicht auf welchem Planet ich hier war? Doch kann ich nur sagen das es sich lohnt das Muster gut durch zu lesen!

Lustig ist es jetzt schon…doch war es mir so im Kopf eingeprägt das ich auf beiden Vorder Teilen Seiten für den “V” Kragen: 80 Maschen über die nächsten 40 Reihen in jede 4. Reihen je 1 Masche abnehmen sollte…..”UNMÖGLICH” sage da mein Hirn …so rufte ich meinen Freundinnen an, die klopften dann mein Hirn wieder in die Richtung…hahaha ….Danke Mädels

Das Muster sagte ja : “Über die nächsten 40 Reihen auf beiden Seiten, aber nur jede 4. Reihe, eine Masche abnehmen = ergibt dann 182 Maschen” So sind das ja nur 10 Abnahmen auf beiden Seiten…

Last Minute Baby Top and Diaper Shorts

How cute this is…I have not knit any Baby items in so long that this was a sure special request from Wendy. Oh that yarn was so nice and cozy to knit this fun top down pattern. My first Top Down pattern ever. Neet no sewing up sleeves or front to backs. The pattern was very well written to and easy to follow even if you are a beginner. I use 1 1/4 skeins of Americo Original 100% Organic Cotton for top. with the leftover yarn I knit the shorts to go along with the top. So 2 skein just was enough to knit this assemble.

Auch das das Garn war so schön weich fuer dieses von Obern herunter (Schulter zu Talien) Muster. So ein Top Down Muster habe ich noch nie gestrickt doch war es ganz einfach und das Muster war auch gut geschrieben. Auch eine Anfängerin kann das versuchen. Ich brauchte 1 1/4 Americo Original 100% Organic Baumwolle. Mit dem Resten strickte ich die Shorts dazu. So 2 Kneuel waren genug für alles.

Summer Lace Bolero in Pima Cotton

Stunning how nice this turned out. I was looking to knit a bolero for my daughter. One of my favourite spots for pattern is the Drops Design site. http://www.garnstudio.com/index_lang.php They have so many wonderful patterns I find it challenging to pick the ONE. So now ….all finished to wear. I used Pima Cotton by Americo Original 4 Skeins are plenty only worked 16 repeats.

I completed this Bolero at our “Stitch and B….” night at Unwind Yarn House and was surprise to get all the great compliments from all the ladies there. So much so that I think they all are knitting one for themself too. What a nice compliment that is….Thanks. But I am happy that my daughter loves it so much she has it on going to school today….that alone is a THANK YOU from her to me.

My Kayla Shrug

This Yarn “100% Pima Cotton” by Americo Original is a absolute pleasure to knit any pattern with. Very soft and it feels as it just molts to your body. I used three and one half of a skein to complete this pattern up to 16 repeats instead of 18 repeats. Thought it will be long enough for me, as I am not very tall. The yarn and pattern can be purchased at www.americo.co . I will have a fun time wearing this fun shrug this spring and summer.

Since a view days ago this shrug is on a trip, vial mail I sent it to my mother. She liked it so much..hope it will lock great on you Mutt.

Dieses Garn “100% Pima Baumwolle” von Americo Original ist ein absolutes Joy zum Stricken fuer einige Muster. Sehr weich und sanft, schmeigt sich gleich am Koerper an. Ich brauchte drei und 1/2 Kneuels von der Wolle und nur mit 16 Repetionen von dem Muster. Wird lange genug fuer mich da ich nicht sehr gross bin. die Wolle und das Muster kan man bei www.americo.ca bekommen. Ich werde diese Jacke viel tragen diesen Fruehling und Sommer.

So seit kurzem ist diese Jacke jetzt auf Reisen zu meiner Mutter. Sie haette auch gerne so eine Jacke. Da ist sie jetzt per Post unterwegs. Hoffe sie passt Dir auch gut Mutt.

Tobago Cardigan

Another great project for Wendy’s store finished…..Love the colors and the cut. As I am knitting this up I was not sure how this is going to look on someone. But as usual sometimes one just has to finish the garment and ……. very lovely and ohhhh never mind about all the wonderful colors and yarns one could knit this in.

Wendy provided me with the yarn called Tobago by Katia very soft and a great combed cotton yarn to knit this top in. Knitted up in needle size 6mm and also 5.5mm, so a relatively fast knit from side to side (horizontally) on the body. The sleeves from cuff to shoulder knit. Yarn and Pattern is available at Unwind Yarn House to purchase via mail order as well. Have fun knitting one for yourself in all the amazing colors available….The pattern is from the Magazine Katia # 61 Sport see www.katia.es

Wieder eine wuderschöne Jacke fuer Wendy’s Woll-Geschäft…..Die Farben sind wunderschön und der Schnitt. Als ich da so am stricken war, fragte ich mich wie das jemanden stehen wird. Doch manchmal muss man das einfach fertig stricken um zu sehen wie schön es heraus kommt und an einer Person liegt….Schön und die Farben.

Mit Wolle von Wendy’s Laden “Tobago” von Katia sehr weiche Gekämmt Baumwolle und Nadeln Nummer 6mm & 5.5mm war das schnell gestrickt. Die Körper Teile wurden von Seite zu Seite (Horizontal) gestrickt und die Ärmel von Hand zu Schulter gestrickt.Dazu einen super Knopf und voila. Die Wolle und Knopf sind erhältlich bei Unwind Yarn House. Das Muster ist von dem Katia Magazine #61 Sport www.katia.es
