Baby Cardigan – Passion To Create

Knit Knit Knit was my job. Well not a job a passion I can truly say. Never without anything on my needles.

So here is the Baby Surprise Jacket once again. A favourite knit for Babies.

Here I used only one skein of my own “KnitswissYarns”

100% Superwash merino Sport weight. One skein just finished it all up nicely. For the 0-3/5 month old (160 sts)

This pattern has been around for many years and so many People love to knit this.

Süß wie immer, ist diese Baby-Jacke ….. stricken stricken stricken war mein Job. Also, nicht ein Job eine Leidenschaft, das darf ich wirklich sagen. Nie ohne etwas auf meine Nadeln.

Also hier ist das Baby Surprise Jacket wieder. Ein beliebtes stricken von mir. Nicht mein eigenes Muster. Das Muster gibt es schon seit vielen Jahren und so viele Menschen lieben es zum Stricken.

So wenn Du in meiner Nachbarschaft wohnst und Du auch so eine Baby Jacke stricken willst schreib mir nur ein paar Zeilen und wir sehen was wir so für Tage frei haben. Auch wenn Du Stricken oder Häckeln lernen wills…frag mich nur.

Unwind Yarn House needed a sample for this yarn called Vermont Organic Fiber Company O-Wool Balance so here we go…..knitting, knitting and more knitting….wonderful.

I knit the cardigan in size 12 months and used US 5 -3.75mm and US 6 -4mm needle and a total of 3 skeins about 390 yards or 356.6meters.

I do find that the sleeves are a little tight on the cuff and on the arm, though I have the same measures as the pattern for that size. Seems that other knitter’s found the same.

I think casting even 2 stitches more to the sleeve would make a different in the cuff circumference. And one could easily adjust the extra stitches to the top part.

Other than that a fun pattern to follow and sooo sweet on a 12 month old child…have fun knitting one too….

Ich stricke die Jacke in Größe 12 Monaten und verwendete US 5 -3.75mm und US 6 -4mm Nadel und insgesamt 3 Stränge davon etwa 356.6meters.Ich finde, dass die Ärmel ein wenig eng sind, obwohl ich die gleichen Maßnahmen wie das Muster für diese Größe hatte. Scheint, dass andere Strickerin das auch gefunden haben.
Ich denke, etwa so 2 Maschen mehr, um die Hülse wäre auch recht gut damit es nicht so eng ist. Man könnte ganz einfach die zusätzlichen Stiche in den oberen Teil einbauen.
Sonst aber ein wunderschönes Muster zum Sricken und sooo süß für ein 12 Monat younges Kind … so viel Spaß beim Stricken!
