Silky Mohair Blanket Shawl….So delicate light and what a dream to wear…never mind about the 
knitting. You will not believe how nice and light this big comfy blanket shawl is. The yarn is like you want to be a kitten purring in the ..softness of this yarn. I would for sure not have this out on the comfy couch as my cat would sooo love to cuddle in this blanket…smile.
Yes I know enough of this …. I will tell you the yarn is called Artyarns Silk Mohair and we used a total of 10 different colours and needle number 5mm to knit this one for the store….if you have a chance to stop in you have to feel it ..better yet try it on and see how nice it will make you feel…

So luftig und weich ist dieser “Silky Mohair Schal” …was für ein Traum den tragen zu dürfen. Du wirst nicht glauben, wie schön und leicht dieser große Schal ist. Wenn Du dieser Schal strickst, kommts Du dir vor alls wenn Du eine Katze bist dir gerne die Pfoten in den Kneuel massagen tut. Ich würde sicher unsere Katze darin sehen …smile
ok ganug damit …. das Garn das wir dau benutzen ist “Artyarns Silk Mohair” und wir haben insgesamt 10 verschiede Farben verstricket und Nadel Nummer 5mm gebraucht.

As you can see I had some fun with it too.
A change I the stitch and a fun yarn for the border and voila ready to wear.
This sumptuous “Prism Neat Stuff”yarn has been looking at me at” The Yarn Store” for a while now telling me
“Please give me a try…You would be the one for me!”
Guess what I did, yes I know it is rather expensive skein so therefore I used only one skein of this yarn.
This yarn does have sooooo many changes from lace weight to ribbon, DK weight to frill and so on all though out the skein… therefore you have a lot of knots during your knitting…you could sew them all in but I decided to make this part of the design in my cardigan…fringes why not…
So since I only was able to afford to buy one skein of this Neat Stuff I needed another amazing yarn to go with my “Erika Cardigan”…..
WE ALL LOVE so much ….….madelinetosh tosh merino light
and the pattern needed another change as you can see a NEW STITCH yes that is it…voila off to my knitting so I can wear it…

Na ja ich weiß, es ist ein ziemlich teuer Knäuel so deshalb habe ich nur ein Knäuel von diesem Garn verwendet.
Dieses Garn hat zwar sooooo viele Veränderungen aus Spitzen Garne ,”Bändeli”, DK Gewicht zu Krausen Wolle keine Grenzen in dem Knäuel … Deshalb hast Du eine Menge von Knoten während dem Stricken … man könnte sie alle vernähen, aber ich beschloss, diese Knoten in diesem Entwurfs in meine Strickjacke zu zeigen… Fransen warum nicht …
Ja natürlich war eine Strange nicht genug für die Jacke so seit wir alle

lieben verwendete ich zwei Strangen davon.
Das Muster benötigt eine weitere Änderung, neue Masche ja das ist es … voila fertig zum Tragen ist sie meine

Fleece Artist Curly Looks Shawl
With only one skein of
Fleece Artist Curly Locks = 546.0 yards (499.3m) and US 11 – 8.0 mm this super easy shawl came together fast.
Just cast on 3 stitches and then add one stitch at every beginning of the row….till you have used up all the yarn well you will need enough to cat off..
So cozy soft…how could one not love this yarn super soft and snugly…kind of like a teddy bear…
I am kind of thinking I will get a view skeins and knit a blanket for me…winter is coming and I have a feeling it could be cold….

Mit nur einem Knäuel von Fleece Artist Curly Locks = 499.3 Meter lauflänge und US 11 / 8,0 mm ist dieser super einfache Schal schnell gestrickt.
Einfach wie gesagt.. man muss nur 3 Maschen Anschlagen und bei jeder Reihen Anfang eine Masche zunehmen…. bis Du all das Garn verwendet hast nicht fergessen genug Wolle übrig zu lassen zum Abketten …
So wunderschön weich is dieses Garn … kommt mir vor wie ein Teddybär … Ich bin mir am überlegen ob ich damit eine Decke stricken soll. Der Winter kommt und ich habe das Gefühl, es wir ein kalt sein ….

For this cowl I used 2 skeins of Dye Hard Fibre Arts SW Merino Worsted about 400 yards or 365 meters in a “Silver Lining Gray” colour and size 6mm needles so a relative fast knit if you enjoy cable knitting.
I enjoy knitting with this yarn! I think it will be perfect for so many cardigans, sweaters for ladies as well as for the gentlemen in your home. Or try a shawl for the winter sooo many fun colours to choose from too

Truly think this is perfect for the ladies that just do not like that big bulk around their neck…
For the first shawl I used “Lana Grossa Elastico” 
that was hand delivered by my cousin Caroline from Switzerland…wow how about that.
Perfect yarn if you don’t like the itchy stuff…I only had 2 1/2 skeins left from a project and thought I would surprise my moms friend with something special.
I did have to play around with the needles size 3mm, 4mm & 5mm I used for this one…
The second one I knit for my work “The Yarn Store” with “Louisa Harding Yarns Thistle” 3 skeins gave it a nice body and length. I think if you like it fluffy and cozy this is a perfect yarn for this shawl… used needles 4.5mm & 5.5mm perfect.
So truly you can use this pattern with any yarn just need to go with the needle that will give you a nice finish…I would stay with what it tells you on the yarn info and you should be fine…but make sure you buy enough yarn one extra skein just to be on the safe side…

Wirklich wenn ich so denke, das ist perfektes Muster für die Dame, die es lieber nicht so wuchtig um den Hals hat…
Für den ersten Schal habe ich “Lana Grossa Elastico” benutzt. Dies wurde mir von meinem Cousin aus der Schweiz mitgebracht. Ein perfektes Garn, wenn Du Wolle nicht vertragen kannst …
Ich hatte nur noch 2. 1/2 Knäuel von einem Projekt übrig so dachte ich, es würde der Freundin von meiner Mutter sicher auch noch gefallen. So spielte dan halt etwas mit den Nadel 3mm, 4mm und 5mm herum damit es auch gut aussieht…
Der zweite Schal wurde für “The Yarn Store” gestrickt. Wo ich in der zwischen Zeit auch Arbeit. Mit 3 Knäuel von “Louisa Harding Yarns Thistle” wurde dieser auch sehr schön. Diesmal benutzte ich aber Nadeln 4.5mm & 5.5mm perfekte denke ich.
Ich denke, wenn man es locker nimmt und keine Angst hat kann man dieses Muster mit etlichen Wollen und Garnen stricken. Du must nur genügend Wolle kaufen und dann würde ich das Muster mit den Nadel Grösse Stricken wie angegeben für die Wolle.
Mann muss ja nicht immer Haar genau auf das Muster gehen… genau das ist ein tolles Geschenk für Weihnachten

So here is something very different in yarns.
I took just one skein of “S.Charles Collezione Celeste” home and used a 6mm round needle.
I was not sure what I would be able knit up for “The Yarn Store” with this…
One skein had only a running length of 8.2 meters.
The options where up to me…

Well the pattern is called the Buttercup by Heidi Kirrmaier a free pattern on ravelry.
This one I had in my favourites for some time and thought it would look great on my mom too. So of I went and used my needles once again to knit something for my amazing Mom.
I use only 7 skeins of this yarn for this Buttercup and with a 4mm needle it was knit up fast too. My colour or should I say my moms colour she will be wearing is called “cactus” a very nice spring /summer colour…Well yes one day I hope to visit Arizona too where lots of cactus grow. I am sure my father would love to join me on that trip….
Side Way Knit Cabled Jacket
Is a pattern I found in the Sabrina Magazine from February 2012.(Chapters has this magazine under the name ‘Sandra” The pattern is called Side way knit Cable Jacket
I have a new favourite yarn!!! “Tanis Fiber Arts ” this one yarn I used 6 skeins of “Yellow Label DK Weight” about 1560 yards in a fun colour called orange blossom. The needle size was US4 or 3.5mm
Diese Jacke is von der Seite her gestrickt darum auch der Name “ # 28 Quer gestrickte Zipfeljacke.” ein Muster, das ich in dem Deutschen “Sabrina” Strickheft von der Februar 2012 Ausgabe gefunden hatte. Die Farben so lebendig, unglaublich fröhlich, es kommt mir vor als wenn ich mit Sonnenschein gestrickt hatte. Mir gefällt es wenn ich Zopfmuster stricken kann wie in dieser Strickjacke.

Rüschchen und Rüschchen und noch Rüschchen!Zum Glück habe ich ein anderes Muster für diese Estelle Frill Seeker Yarn gefunden…perfekt. Da ich schon zuviele Schals mit diesem Garn gestrickt hatte …
Um ehrlich zu sagen, mag ich den Frill Seeker Schal nicht sehr. Fast etwas zu wuchtig um meinen Hals.
Aber dieses Kissen sieht fabelhaft aus, da es nicht um mein Gesicht leigt und auf dem Sofa kann es wuchtig sein ….
