A week ago today, my eyes had this total magical view

I could not wait to get out of bed to take pictures. If you could have seen what I saw that morning…..

Believe me is breathtaking. The pictures don’t do justice to this. It stayed for two full days…

Totally BEAUTIFUL.

The trees and bushes where covered with “HAIRS” of about 1″ long. The size of the frost that formed depended on how much water vapor was available to feed the ice crystals as they grow. I can honesty say I have never seen anything like it. Its so magical!

There is this tingle I had in me to just stay outside and enjoy every singe moment of this Magical Land and right here in my Garden you could say… Happiness.

Florida In February

OMG hard to believe we left in this snow/ice storm on February 6th.

 

Has been already over a month ago that we where in Florida enjoying that sooooo beautiful sunshine every day by +24 to 28 and water at +16 . I was swimming in it every day on and on….just so perfect.

Sunset right by the beach every night…I am still looking for the star in that evening sky every night, my start always full of love and happy moments walking in the water looking for the shells. Even thought I could not bring home some of the coral that washed up on the shore…..nooo noooo you can’t do that!!

My fun moments taking pictures of birds flying by…or posing for me.

Smiles Yes  “I am a bigger kid then You thought I am” …smiles that is me. Always will be that way…That is my Life, my Love, my life of happiness.

More then I am That is me.

 

Sleeping on the balcony hearing the waves crushing onto the shore.

Seeing the stars and full moon.

Hearing the birds in the morning waking me up….My Dream always.

I’ll never forget that kind of feeling of Peace.

 

De La Salle Beach in Sutton

unbelievable how there is sooooo much ice on the beach! This is not to far from us about 30 minutes driving…people where still on the ice doing Ice-Fishing…IMG_3177

I guess they know what they are doing….felt a little more comfortable staying on land at this time of year.

Glistening In The Ice

IMG_6462For the past view days we had everything covered in Ice.

Trees, branches, bushes and yes cars too. Whatever was outside was covered in a layer of 1-2 inches of Ice.

 

It sure looks pretty, but lots of damage it can bring too.  Do I shake the ice off the cedars or not was the question at one time? Well one of my tree was not able to carry the weight and did fall over…File 2016-03-26, 10 56 27 AM

Today is a big melt and the sun is shining so bright. With the backyard door open a tad bit is really neat to hear all the sounds outside. Sound of rain though it is the ice melting, birds tweeting, Ice crashing from the trees and branches shifting back to the normal place. With a lot less weight on them.

The sun makes it all sparkle and glistening like in a fairytale world

File 2016-03-26, 11 07 41 AMIn den letzten Tagen hatten wir alles mit Eis bedeckt. Bäume, Äste, Sträucher und ja auch die Autos. Was draußen war, wurde in eine Schicht von 5-10cm Eis bedeckt.

Schön sieht es schon aus, aber viel Schaden bringt es auch. Soll” ich das Eis von den Zweigen schütteln oder nicht war die Frage auf einmal. Auch einer meiner Baum war nicht in der Lage, das Gewicht zu tragen und fiel auf den Boden…File 2016-03-26, 10 56 44 AM

Heute kommt die große Schmelzung, die Sonne scheint so hell und bring die Wärme das Eis zu schmelzen. Mit der Tür ein bisschen offen höre ich alle Arten von Gereusche. Mann Könnte meinen er Regnet,  schmelzen Ice , Vögel zwitschern, Eis kracht von den Bäumen und Ästen wieder auf eine Eis schichte die noch am Boden ist.

Die Sonne verzaubert alles im Funkeln und Glitzern wie in einer Märchenwelt

I just love when I see water droplets on branches.

Today they are hanging on all kinds of branches  in our backyard.

Ich finde es immer sehr schoen Wasser Tropfen an den Zweigen hängen zu sehen…

Heute gibt es viel davon in unserem Garten.

2015-01-14 08.29.41It has been bitter cold in the past weeks. With below -25 even -30 degrees it is easy to find ice pictures on many of our windows.I really liked this one from this mornings freeze. I know it looks nice when the sun shines into them but that sunshine and clear sky makes it even colder.

We all know there are many people out there that homeless and really cold. I know of a view of us that are working on knit blankets or quilts for the shelters and we hope to make someone happy and warm in this cold winter. Here is what I will bring it to the Day-Shelter today. Not much but I hope it helps.

2015-01-14 10.27.11In den vergangenen Wochen ist es bitter Kalt bei uns. Bei unter -25 bis -30 Grad ist es einfach  Ice-Bilder auf vielen unseren Fenstern zu sehen.Ein Bild von Heute Morgen war ausser genwöhndlich schön. Doch ein klarer Himmel mit Sonnenschein heisst es ist echt kalt.

Wir alle wissen, es gibt viele Leute da draußen, die kein zu Hause haben und es nicht so schön warm haben wie wir.  

So dachte ich dass auch wir etwas tun können damit auch ander Menschen warm haben. Immer schön zu wissen das einige von uns Decken für Tages-Unterkünfte stricken, häckeln oder nähen. Hier ist eine Decke die ich gehäckelt habe. Nicht viel, aber ich hoffe es hilft jemanden.
