Slowly this cardigan is having its shape coming together. Love the soft yellow colour in this yarn. I have never knit with Soybean yarn and it’s my first time dyeing it too.
Love the feel on how this yarn knits up. It is so strong and doesn’t split at all. You really need a scissor to cut the yarn no way you can tear it.
I think this will look perfect in the summer months with shorts.
Coat is finally finished. Smiles, it only took me 4 summers to knit up.
Wow… You may say, but being fingering weight, needles 2.25 mm and in a black as you can see for most of the knitting. I really needed good lighting and the best was, sunlight outside in my backyard. Then the challenge of cutting the front open, something we knitters call “Steeking” and picking up stitches to bind the front edge…woha, a little nerve-racking. Only because I already invested that many year of knitting into the coat. Really did not want to muck this part up…Yes perfect all great.
You can see the inside of the coat is just a beautiful as the ousie..smile.
As I have shortened this jacket I had to modify some areas. So it is not true version of her coat. Therefore I have lots of yarn left. for some other project. Then I still have a foul box of her yarn for another coat of shawl..

This is a very lose fitting cardi on me so would fit someone with medium to large size too.

I will be working on a view more videos in the next view days, that will show you how to Merge the sections together on the purl side. And hopefully also the two triangle section on each side. The last row with all the casting off triangles …..Yes then off to the sleeves and the collar.
So please visit for More Videos to follow soon….and Hope to have pattern available for this Cardi Entrelac Style soon too.
This Origami Shrug by Melissa Wehrle is so soft and light. It has been on my mind for way to long to knit this shrug up. Since I have the book now for several years I thought it really is time to start knit it up too…
Can you tell I am Soooo loving it .
I used 5 skeins of my absolute favourite yarn called Louet MerLin Sport Weight a total of 1142 meters where knit up with needle US 6 -4.0mm in the Aqua colour. So sad though this yarn is now discontinued ;-(((
If I would knit this Origami Shrug again I would be to use my KnitswissYarns in sport weight. Really think it would be stunning too.
Totally in love with this Origami Shrug.
When it came to sewing the back together I put the stitches on two separate needles and used the Kitchener this way…no one will see a seam!
(Now if you are going to knit this one up, look at the pattern errata there is a correction that is important to know! )
Here I used only one skein of my own “KnitswissYarns”
100% Superwash merino Sport weight. One skein just finished it all up nicely. For the 0-3/5 month old (160 sts)
This pattern has been around for many years and so many People love to knit this.
Perhaps you are in my neighbourhood and like to knit one up too just send me a message will work something out. Or I can teach you how to knit or crochet…just ask for my classes or send me a note what you like to create.
I believe this one already has a baby boy to keep warm too.
Kelly hope you too will love it as much as I enjoyed knitting it up.

A light fun pattern and ideal to wear over a strapless top or halter top.
You want your crochet work to show off.
The sleeves and back are crochet all in one piece and then at the sleeves section sewn together. Once that is done it gets easier. Just pick up the required stitches all around the body opening. Knitting in the round is easy now as it is a knit 2, purl 2, knit 2 continue to end …Lacy Cardigan 2016
The Lace Cardigan pattern ..In Sizes Small / Medium and it is easy to adapt to larger size too. I’ll be working this pattern up again in my “KnitswissYarns” shortly and have pattern available again….Happy knitting
Flaming June Is a wonderful light summery cardigan.
In the sample here knit up in two different colours just like in the pattern written by Cheryl Niamath on Raverly.
The Hemp is a perfect material but so would be any Linen. A cool and fun way to use different materials for knitting
Love how this cardigan looks and wears too. Yes it is knit with Hemp. Some of you may not like the roughness of this material. Hemp is mostly used for string or ropes but this is a much finer and I say softer version of it.
However it does not give so knitting with it is a bit of a challenge. You do have to knit a swatch as my gauge was off by at 4 stitches so I still knit by pattern but went down with my needle size to a 3.5mm. Some Ravelry posts even have used a 2mm needle size to get the correct gauge.. I also had to knit the sleeves shorter as I was reading on some sites it does stretch a bit. Well I have to say that is correct as mine stretched in length by at least 3 inches.
The sleeves have a interesting point to the front of your hand.
The next one I will knit will be about 3 -4 inches shorter as I am not that tall.
Both sides of the cardigan have the same point as the sleeves. So very fun and stylish for this summer
Another version one could knit is a Vest instead of the cardigan. You will only need 5 skeins of Hemp then.
