Enjoying this new Market & Co. that just opened it’s doors to our Upper Canada Mall here in Newmarket, Ontario 3 days ago. Love the unique stores.

Fresh flowers from “Floralescence” I bought gladiolus and sunflowers so pretty. They make me smile:-)

“Newmarket Olive Co” has delicious Oils and Vinegar for bread dipping or salads and so much more. But hey let them tell you how to use them. “Eat What You Love Drink What You Want” Perfectly said.

Kitchen &CO has class that you too can sign up for, just go see their class list. I attended todays class “Create A Swoon-Worthy Charcuterie & Cheese Board”! Hosted by “Seed To Sausages” I know a lot more about cheeses and sausages now! Good chatting to couples waiting in line and at the table. Fantastic afternoon spent there, I call it “Me Time;-)))”

Oh you should see all the deserts and bread! You will be amazed and I can guarantee you it will be hard to figure out what to get for your sweet tooth!

Chips, Chips and more all freshly made just for You with flavours of Salt and Malt and much more! I tell you people where lining up to get a taste of the “Ray Woody’s Craft Chippery” Chips.

You love fresh fish go see “Pier 87 Fish Market & Grill” wow an oyster bar too!

If pizza is your favorites, especially backed in a wood oven! Oh tell you I plan to take my hubby to “Midici”. One of the restaurants to have a meal. ;-)

Oh yes “Union Chicken” is there too, realy another place to have supper. Hope to meet Chef Michael Angeloni one day too. You should see the camper outside…long line ups just like “Ray Woody’s Craft Chippery” inside!

Yes even our Vince’s Market it their with there fresh fruits and vegetables the best in town!

You like coffee, tea or yes win even that they have in the Market & Co with wine tasting bar.

Soup form Ma’s Best Quality Soup I am sure will taste perfect when you have no time to make a warm tasty soup for you loves one.

Have I told you this is a wonderful place to meet people too. I have chatted with people from Toronto, Sharon, Innisfil and really loved chatting with the 3 couples at my table exchanging how they store cheese, LOL (see class above that I attended).

Smile, now you know what I did for the last 2 days while my hubby was hiking up in the North of Michigan. Taking my daughter to her new work place as I enjoyed her new surroundings too. “Sam I know You Can Do It”

Woo isn’t in the kitchen this time of year…well It took a little for me this year. As I was chatting with my mom back home last Thursday it came to me I really should have some fresh new bread and cookies in our home too. So let’s get busy….in no time I had dough for two “Zopf” rising and “Spitzbuebe” (a Swiss Cookie) cookie dough in fridge cooling to roll out later too

Ohhh soooo the bread was backing and the cookies had been filled with home-made Plume Jam too. Though I can also try one of my Cranberry-Vinegar. Perfect for Carrot salad dressing. My home was warm with all the baking aroma….Are You hungry yet?

Wer wird jetzt nicht schon in der Küche sein und baken zu dieser Jahreszeit?

Es dauerte ein wenig für mich in diesem Jahr…. Als ich am vergangenden Donnerstag mit meiner Mutter zuhause in der Schweiz plauderte ja via Skype , wurde mir klar dass ich doch etwas baken sollte. So frisches Brot und Guetzli. So let’s get busy….in kurzer Zeit hatte ich Teig für zwei “Zopf” und “Spitzbuebe” Teig im Kühlschrank zu kühlen..

Schnell schnell ging das Brot in den Oven und die Cookies waren gefüllt mit selbs gemachter Pflaumen Konfiture.

Oven wieder abgekühlt kochte ich dann auch noch Cranberry-Vinegar perfekt für Rübli- Salatsoße ist …..Mein Haus duftete mit allen den Backen Aromas….

Home baked Bread and Cake

What to eat for breakfast was the question today? Oh I am not a big fan of getting groceries …kind of really dislike it. So my hubby seems to enjoy going to look around and oh I tell you he does find things i haven’t seen yet.

So today I was home and I really did not want to get groceries. So out came the flour, salt, butter etc. about 4 hours later I had two loaf of “Zopf” and a “Toblerone Cake” a fancy name for chocolate chip cake as I use some of my “Frey” chocolate cut it into cubes and voila chocolate chips I had…told you I don’t like getting groceries

Was gibt es Morgen früh zum Frühstück war Heute die Frage? Oh, ich bin kein großer Fan von Lebensmittel ein zukaufen…Wirklich ich könnt es sein lassen. Echt toll das mein Mann anscheinent das gern tut. Er findet immer wieder etwas neues das auch ich nicht kenne. Ok auch gute so.

So heute war ich zu Hause und ein Frühstück für Morgen brauchten wir doch.

So kam das Mehl, Salz, Butter usw. ca. 4 stunden später hatte ich zwei “Zöpf” und ein “Toblerone Kuchen” einen lustigen Namen für Schokoladen Würfel Kuchen order ‘Schoggichuche”. Hatte noch etwas “Frey” Toblerone Schokolade im Kasten, ap in den Teig und voila …Yummy wie zu Hause.
