We celebrate 150 Year Canada this year …

 Celebration Tulip Cowl

has been designed to honour  this event. Although I have seen the Maple Leaf Tulip in pictures only at the time of me disining this cowl. I too was inspired to reflect it in my knitting and design….with planting in the fall of 2016, 50 of the Maple Leaf Tulip bulbs. 

So after I had a look though my already existing yarn stash I found several smaller balls of fingering weight of my own KnitswissYarns. My colours are perfect for this tulip colours and concept.  I am excited to tell you the  pattern was published in “A Needle Pulling Thread” Summer edition 2017
