Stunning colours!
The brick road cowl by Madelinetosh is super fun to knit up. I used 4 skeins for this cowl of Dye Hard Fibre Arts SW Merino fingering 2 skeins = 816.0 yards (746.2m) in Black and 2 skeins of pink. the needle size was US 5 – 3.75 mm.
The pattern suggest for you to knit 8 inches before you switch colours. This does require you to use 4 skeins of yarn 2 for each colour.
Now with that said if you like to only use two skeins One in each colour…no problem just make sure you only knit about 6 inches tops and then switch the colours. However I have not knit it up that way so I will not guarantee this exact measurement in reg to 6 inches! I myself would try it this way though…
Atemberaubende Farben! Der “Ziegelstein” Cowl von MADELINETOSH ist super toll zum Stricken. Ich habe vier Stränge für diesen Cowl benutzt von Dye Hard Fibre Arts SW Merino Fine. In diesem Cowl sind 2 Stränge (746.2m) in Schwarz und 2 Stränge in Rosa. Mit Nadel Größe 3,75 mm.
Das Muster schälgt vor, etwa 20cm zu stricken, bevor Du die Farben wechseln tust. Dabei wir es erforderlich sein, dass Du vier Stränge des Garns hast. So 2 Stänge in 2 Faben.
Doch Du wirst etwas Wolle übrig haben, genug für einen Schal.
Meine Empehlung dazu ist, wenn Du nur zwei Stränge verstricken willst kannst Du auch nur zwei Kneuel in je einer Farbe benutzen. Doch stricke nur etwas 15cm und dann wechsle die Farben…Habe das aber noch nicht gestrickt so ich nimm keine Verantworung dazu….Mein Nächster würde ich aber so stricken.
