Thrum Slippers


Simple and easy to knit them up and sooo snuggly warm for the cooler season…

Nooooo not so fast I like to be out when it is warm!!! Though the Fall is around the corner, really???

So what better way to get ready then knit! Yes Thrum Slippers….so much fun …yes You are right that is what I was knitting about two weeks ago in the heat of +28 and I was giving You a quick glimpse of them…Did You guess it???

Have a look they are really a lot of fun to make and only takes 1 half of the Roving string and any king of leftover cascade or DK yarn…mix it up and have fun…I did!!!

Einfach und leicht zu stricken sie dise sooo kuschelig warm Finken für die kühlere Jahreszeit …

Neinnnn nicht so schnell mir gefällt es im warmen drausen zu sein! Doch der Herbst ist schon um die Ecken , wirklich??

Also, was besser, so stricken wir warme Finken! Ja Fleece Finken…. so viel Spaß … ja Du hast recht das ist, was ich vor etwa zwei Wochen auf den Nadeln hatte in der Hitze von +28 Grad. Einen schnellen Blick habe ich Euch allen gezeigt … Hast Du es erraten??

Wirklich eine Menge Spaß und Du brauchst nur 1 Hälfte des Roving String und einwening von übrigem  DK Garn … mix it up und hab’ Spass dabei ..!

      1. Ohhh ok I misread your question…yes you do have to be careful…the way they are now they are slippery on a wood or tile floor. However there are leather soles one can get from Michael’s or get a fabric paint that one could paint on the sole of the slippers. Kind of like the socks with that sticky stuff on it…Hope that helps :-)
