by Knitting Pixie free pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/luscious-lace-scarf.  The request I had from Wendy was to knit up a totally different type of scarf then already was knit with this

“Lorna’s Laces Helen’s Lace Solid “yarn (Lace / 2 ply 50% Wool, 50% Silk) and 1250  yards .http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/lornas-laces-helens-lace-solid   One half of this skein was already used for the “Rock Island” shawl.  

So I had about 600-700 yards left for this sample, which also had to be a rectangular scarf and a free pattern too. I also was looking for a pattern to work with a needle size 3.75mm so fairly small.   Ok that should not be too hard to find I thought….well look again. 

 I could not decide which one I should knit up so many on ravelry or in my books but not all are free…. Then finally the perfect one I thought. Knitting this one up for Unwind Yarn House took a little longer than normal. Knit form one end to the other no grafting together was required too.  Since I did not know exactly how far this yarn will go….but it went on and on. I easily could have knit this one wider too.  Blocked measurements are 13 inches wide and64  inches long. But perhaps next time I will…gorgeous knit and so light and airy to wear for a summer eve out on a patio.

von Stricken Pixie ist ein kostenlos Muster http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/luscious-lace-scarf . Der Aufrag sollte etwas ganz anderes sein als der schon fertig gestrickte “Rock Island” Schal.

“Lornas Laces Helen’s Lace Solid” Garn (Lace / 2 lagig 50% Wolle, 50% Seide) und 1143 Meter.  Die eine Hälfte dieser Strange wurde bereits für die “Rock Island ” Schal verwendet.

So hatte ich etwa 500- 550 Meter für dieses Muster übrig.  Es sollte auch ein rechteckiger Schal sein und ein kostenloses Muster auch noch dazu. So meine  Suche nach einem  kostenlosen Muster mit einer Nadelstärke von  3,75 mm ging loss . Ok, dass sollte nicht allzu schwer sein dachte ich. Doch mit so vielen Mustern bei Ravelry oder in meine Bücher, aber nicht alle sind frei.

 Brauchte etwas länger zum fertig Stricken für Unwind Yarn House als normal. Dann endlich das ideale Muster, dachte ich.  Gestrickte von einem Ende zum anderen Ende ohne es zusammen nähen zu müssen. Da ich nicht genau wußte, wie weit dieses Garn gehen entschloss ich mich zu dem “Lucious Lace Scarf” …. doch das Garn hat sich gedehnt, wollte und wollte nicht fertig werden…smile. Blockierte Messungen sind 33 cm breit und 162cm lang.  Herrlich und einfach zum Stricken  und so weich und luftig für einen Sommerabend auf einer Terrasse zu tragen.
