Entrelac Bolero – Jacket

A Blanket it was supposed to be.  Well I was planning to make a blanket at first all out of 3 different colours form the “Lang Yarns Tosca Light”

  with a needle size 4mm….I cast on 96 stitches and off I went to knit…Well after I had knit several times back and forth the Entrelac pattern ,I thought ok enough of this. I love how the pattern gives a very unique look but do I really what to knit more of this for a big blanket.  I did not have the heart to unravel the wonderful rectangle I already had on my needles. So casting of was the best idea.

Then I came up with this idea to sew the ends together about 10 to 15cm and see.  Now I had two opening for my arms.  Ok not bad.  Now since everything is ruffles. Here I go adding a ruffled collar all around.  Sleeves? Yes I have to add them too…

I am so very pleased with the way it looks and keeps me warm too on the days that I  need to wear a lighter jacket too.  And the colour pattern just perfect too. Very unique I find. Love it.

 Nun, mein  Plan war eine einziegartige Decke zu stricken  mit 3 verschiedenen Farben der “Lang Yarns Tosca Light” und mit einer Nadelstärke 4mm  faste ich  96 Maschen auf  und los ging’s zum stricken Nachdem ich etliche Reihen hin und her im Enterlac  Muster gestrickt hatte… dachte ich, genug mit dem. Ich sticke das Muster gern, doch habe ich genug davon. Das Herz hatte ich doch aber nicht dass alles wieder auf zu trennen. So alle Maschen abketten hiess es dann.

Dann kam mir die Idee die Enden etwa 10 bis 15cm zusammen zu nähen.  So hatte ich jetzt zwei Öffnungen für Ärmel. Wie eine  Bolero  Decke. Ok nicht schlecht.  Da alles  auf Rüschchen ist im Moment fasste ich genügend Maschen auf um einen  Rüschenkragen zu stricken.  Ärmel? Ja, dass muss auch noch her …

 Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Resultat hält mich  warm in kühlen Tagen, und das Farbmuster einfach perfekt dazu .. sehr einzigartig finde ich ..
