Needle Felting
I have seen this great idea from one of my Blog friend. It has sparked my interest and I though it would be nice to see what this is all about. So on one of my outings looking with my best friend looking for spinning yarn products, Spindles and thrumming wool. I spotted this Creative Beautiful 3-D and Flat Felting Project kit by Ashfort Handicraft Lt, New Zealand. I just could not resist getting it and thought it would be something my daughter and I could learn together. I am always looking to find hobbies for her to get interested in.
So here are a few pictures of the great place we have found our treasures and a new Hobby may start with it.
I am knitting at the moment a bag that I will felt in the wash machine later and hope I can embellish it with the felting later. See for upcoming pictures once finished. I can’t wait to start this Felting….
Nadel Filzen
Vor kurzem habe ich bei einer Blog Freundin ein Buch gesehen über Filzen. Meine Interesse wurde da schon geweckt. Dachte es währe schön zu sehn wie dass so geht mit dem Filzen. So auf einem Ausflug mit meiner besten Freundin. Auf der Suche nach Spinrad und Wolle für selber Wolle zu spinnen fand ich dann auch dieses Filzen mit Buch, Nadeln, Filzwolle usw. Alles zusammen. Ich dachte das wäre schön auch für meine Tochter so ein Hobby zu finden. So ich werde mit ihr das einmal anfangen wenn sie lust dazu hat.
Ich bin am Moment an einer Tasche zu stricken und sie dann in der Waschmaschine zu filzen, dann später mit der Filz Decoration zu befilzen. Besuche mich später einmal um dass alles zu sehen wie es so geklapt hat. Ich kann fast nicht warten damit anzu fangen…..

sorry for my delay with responding to you. YEs the book is very detailed and I would recommend it to new Felters. I have never felt before and was able to follow it with no problem. It talks about needle size. What products one needs for projects? It also gives you patterns to use for future ideas to work on. The author of the book also explains on how to make 3-D projects as you can see in the Blog post of mine…the puppy is a 3-D project. I personally have not ventured to this so far. But one day I will try that too. Have fun and let me know how it worked out for you. I love all the work you do too. Lots of lace….lovely….happy crafting

Also der Hund der abegebildet ist gefällt mir sehr gut. Bin mal neugierig welche Erfahrungen du damit machst.

Meine Tochter und ich habe gerade unser erstes Pojekt fertig gefilzt. Kommt bald in den Blog……
Ja der Hund gefaelt mir auch, doch damit muss Du etwas wrten da es 3-D ist und ich neu dabei bin mit dem Nadel Filzen

Salue Birgit, ja das Spinrad ist nicht fuer mich. Meine Freundin will damit anfangen und suchte nach einem Spindel ich glaub so heist das bin aber nicht sicher kann auch ein kleines Spinrad sein. Man dreht das am Bein hoch und die Wolle haelt man in der Hand und zieht den Faden nach.
Spindel oder Spinrad? Da hast Du besser Ahnung davon. Ich versuche das Filzen und werde sehen wie das mit dem Spinnen so geht.
